As part of our science unit last term, 6Z designed their own airports and created it using Lego.
Students worked in groups to decide all the different things that their airport needed, including baggage collection carousels, terminals and hangars.
We investigated different airports from around the world and made sure that we had all the features. Virtual reality and street-view style images really helped us decide what we needed in our own designs.
We first drew our airports and shared our plans with the class, then used Lego to make a miniature airport.
We really enjoyed creating our own airports.
