5P were lucky enough to work with LEGO Mindstorms EV3s.
In groups we had to design and create a vehicle and attach its motors, using cables to our EV3 brick. This allowed us to connect it to our laptops and give it directions through coding.
Through problem solving we were able to find the circumference of one of the tyres by using coding to rotate the tyre 360 degrees and then measuring the distance.
Some groups were also able to use coding to make their vehicle drive the path of an exact square.
We loved learning using the EV3s!
